In 2020, ZALA AERO, a member of JSC Kalashnikov Concern, successfully completed more than 50 thousand flights to ensure the safety of the Russian fuel and energy complex. In particular, 7 thousand flights were carried out under the contracts signed with Gazprom subsidiaries and affiliated companies. At the same time, the coronavirus pandemic did not affect the implementation of the full range of works on monitoring gas pipelines, condensate pipelines, and adjacent infrastructure.
ZALA AERO engaged 30 flight teams and performed a survey of pipelines with a total length of more than 400 000 km. According to the results of the air patrol, the operating services of the Customer received all the necessary photo and video materials.
To increase the efficiency of the work performed, ZALA AERO used specialized software based on artificial intelligence "GeoGraphics" which is designed for processing remote sensing data and quick notification of responsible persons at fuel and energy complex facilities.
In addition to the main scope of work, aerial surveying and photography with high-precision geodetic support were performed in several subjects of the Russian Federation. Since 2021, ZALA AERO is implementing a modified system for detecting methane leak, Z‑16 GAS/DLS.
