Noyabrskenergoneft has chosen ZALA 421-16E UAS with thermal imager and photo camera for aerial survey of power lines.
The main purpose of the investment is to replace ground inspection by unmanned aerial surveillance. Rough conditions of Yamalo-nenets autonomous district – extremely low temperatures, wide hard-to-reach areas, swamplands, wild animals and impenetrable forests – increase risk to staff and complicate the inspection by ground vehicles. For example, it takes up to five days to locate the rupture by ground means.
That is why step by step the company replaces ground inspection by aerial surveillance for scheduled or emergency maintenance. Last year the company purchased ZALA UAS 421-16E with video camera and a special photo camera for 3D modeling.
