LIDAR technology for land registry office

ZALA AERO and Rosreestr (land and registry office) have scanned a village by LIDAR system. The purpose of the aerial laser scanning was to demonstrate the opportunities and master LIDAR technology for Rosreestr needs.

After the flight specialists received a dense point cloud of the territory. Using this data, they evaluate boundaries and location of land property, dimensions of buildings and constructions.

Measuring accuracy of the LIDAR system is within 1 cm (both plane and vertical), that is several times higher than the precision of data, received after aerial photography. High measuring density allows to break through the uppermost layer (woods, greenery, power lines) and obtain the relief surface and ground objects. Today it is the most sufficient method of obtaining geospatial data.
