ZALA AERO was recognized as the winner in the tender for the provision of aerial monitoring at the facilities of the pipeline operation management at RN-Yuganskneftegaz.
The primary task of aerial monitoring with the use of unmanned systems is to fly over pipeline routes and cluster sites to assess their functional and technological condition, as well as to identify incidents related to the storage of household and construction garbage, identify external equipment and persons in the protected area of pipelines, etc.
The total length of aerial monitoring will be more than 3,700,000 km and will be performed at the facilities of Mamontovsky, Yugansky, Maysky, Pravdinsky, and Priobsky regions.
ZALA unmanned aircraft systems, which could combine several payloads, will be used to perform flight tasks day and night to receive and broadcast high-quality video images in real-time to the workplaces of interested individuals of the Customer.
To process and decrypt the photo material obtained from the drone, the company will use neural networks-based software "GeoGraphics", which will allow to quickly identify changes in the interested pipeline section or bush sites. At the request of the Customer, orthophoto maps of pipelines and individual objects, territories, and areas of the region will also be formed based on previously obtained photographic materials.
Starting in January 2021, flight teams will begin the first stages of aerial monitoring using ZALA unmanned systems. The full range of services will be provided for 3 years, including until the end of 2023.
ZALA AERO has been performing aerial monitoring in the interests of RN‑Yuganskneftegaz since 2017, annually increasing the volume and geography of work. Since the middle of the second half of 2020, ZALA specialists have been performing aviation and technical monitoring of capital construction facilities and adjacent infrastructure, in order to monitor the implementation of construction and repair work at the Customer's facilities.
