The excursion to our production areas was a prize for children, who won in the drawing contest “Adventures of small Drone”.
Our specialists tried to explain the kids what an unmanned system is and what it is used for. Children saw where an unmanned aerial vehicle starts from, what tests it completes before it begins to fly.
The kids watched video about practical application of ZALA unmanned systems: how the drone surveys an area, captures images and transmits video to ground control station. Then they were explained what happens next to all that photo and video and how they are used by other services. The children asked lots of questions and showed a lively interest.
The winners of the drawing competition were awarded diploma and souvenirs. The excursion ended up with tea drinking with just baked biscuits. We were really glad to spend this time with the kids and hope we excited their curiosity on the subject and maybe helped some of them to choose their future profession.
