ZALA AERO designed new UAS for methane leaks detection

ZALA AERO together with oil and gas company Gazprom tested new unmanned system for methane leaks detection.

The system is based on UAV ZALA-421-16E5 with a high-sensitivity gas detector onboard.

Methane leaks were simulated on the Gazprom facilities. The UAS calculated methane concentration and detected leaks locations from the height of 100 meters.

UAS ZALA 421-16E proved its efficiency and successfully completed the tests.

Application of unmanned aerial vehicles simplifies and reduces costs for methane leaks detection.
