ZALA AERO unveils new payload for aerial photography and 3D modelling

ZALA AERO has developed new payload for UAS ZALA 421-16E. It contains two photo cameras with changeable wide-angle lenses that simultaneously take pictures of land surface from one and the same point but at different angles. The angle between the cameras is adjustable and can be set manually.

The images, obtained from the payload, are processed by computer vision systems and then used for 3D modeling.

The payload also contains a video camera that broadcasts video stream to ground control station and also provides on-board HD video recording.

The new payload increases the efficiency of aerial survey, offers more information in a lot less time for further processing and creating a digital twin. The payload and its opportunities have already been tested by oil-industry workers and municipal services.
