ZALA: Combat operations of the Lancet and Z-16 operators of Troop Group South

Operators of ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance drones and Lancet series barrage munitions are on duty daily and around the clock, flying combat sorties throughout the entire line of contact.

Footage from the Russian Ministry of Defence shows the work of the fighters of the "South" group of forces. During another sortie, the operators detected two enemy tanks. The target coordinates were transmitted online to the command centre during the flight. After the decision was made to use barrage munitions on the tanks, the Lancets were launched into the air. Both targets were hit with direct hits.

This is how a fighter from the Vostok group of forces with the call sign "Raven" described his experience of working on the Z-16 reconnaissance drone from ZALA.

The upgraded Z-16 is used daily to conduct reconnaissance and objective control throughout the entire line of contact and behind enemy lines. The work is carried out in day and night time. ZALA drones are capable of detecting places of accumulation of enemy manpower and equipment. In automatic and semi-automatic mode, they detect, classify and escort moving targets.

The real-life experience of the ZALA Z-16 was described by a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces in the a report from the Russian Ministry of Defence.
