Alexander Volfovich, in opening the exhibition programme, noted that the improvement of security systems requires constant constructive dialogue at international, regional and interdepartmental levels, and called the forum’s holding a contribution by Belarus to strengthening peace and global stability. In the current geopolitical situation, the RUK «Lancet-E» is perceived by experts as a modern response to current security challenges – a manoeuvreable, highly accurate, and practically tested solution, fully ready, including for export: at the beginning of the year, the company received all the necessary export permits for the RUK «Lancet-E».

The «Lancet-E» RUK includes the Z-16E reconnaissance UAV and «Izdelie 51E» and «Izdelie 52E» loitering munitions. Interest in the complex is reinforced by significant combat experience: to date, over 4,800 confirmed successful strikes have been recorded in the SMO zone. The effectiveness of the «Lancet» has been proven against both heavy armoured vehicles and small, highly mobile targets, as well as against Ukrainian naval drones in the Black Sea. It is precisely this effectiveness, proven in practice, that has become one of the key topics of discussion with foreign delegations. Representatives from a number of CIS and South Asian countries have already shown increased interest in the capabilities of the «Lancet-E» RUK.

Sergey Lyustarnov, Project Manager at ZALA, presented case studies on aerial monitoring of construction and transport infrastructure using ZALA’s aircraft-based UAVs. Using examples from healthcare facilities and Russian Railways projects, he demonstrated how the use of big data enables a shift from piecemeal monitoring to managing the entire lifecycle of a facility. Particular emphasis was placed on the integration of data into the unified ZALA 4Z1 geoinformation system, which eliminates human error and reporting distortions.

Commenting on the inadequacy of traditional control methods and the consequences of the absence of objective monitoring, Ljúshternov outlined the company's key operating principles:

«The days of piecemeal photo reports from quadcopters are over. True efficiency means a system based on an aerial UAV covering hundreds of kilometres of infrastructure in a single flight, whilst the client receives not just a „pretty picture“, but objective data on the process: displacements, heat loss, and the dynamics of changes. In construction and transport, we are solving the problem of «blind spots» and providing a tool that allows you to see the situation in real time and make lightning-fast decisions based on neural network analysis, rather than subjective reports from the field,» emphasised a representative of ZALA.

A key technological stage — the first ever remote control of an unmanned aerial vehicle in Antarctica from the territory of Russia. Operators from the Izhevsk Flight Control Center took control of the ZALA T-16, located thousands of kilometers away. Over-the-horizon communication and integration with the ZALA 4Z1x digital platform ensured the transmission of telemetry and high-definition video in real time. In remote mode, the complex conducted surveillance of hazardous areas and penguin colonies.

Another important achievement — aerial photography of a penguin colony on Kameny Island near the Mirny station. The area is closed to human visitation to preserve the penguin population. From an altitude of several hundred meters, without disturbing the birds, the ZALA T-16 created a detailed orthophotoplan of their habitat. The experience of the anniversary Russian Antarctic Expedition (RAE), commemorating the 70th anniversary of the first Soviet expeditions, confirmed the readiness of Russian UAVs for regular operations in the harshest regions of the planet.

The focus of the guests« attention is the »Lancet-E« reconnaissance-strike complex (RUK), which has already received official export permits. Members of the royal family wanted to see the Russian loitering munitions – »Product 51E« and »Product 52E" – which have proven themselves in real combat conditions. The complex also includes the Z-16E reconnaissance UAV, equipped with an advanced machine vision system. This technology automatically detects and tracks targets, significantly increasing the efficiency of the entire system.

The «Lancet-E» URC is a ready-made tactical solution for protecting maritime borders and critical infrastructure. The complex's key advantage is its ability to counter asymmetric threats without involving expensive aviation or ships. This approach allows for cost optimisation while maintaining a high level of security.

Foreign delegations also showed interest in ZALA technologies: representatives of the Cambodian Ministry of Defence and other countries in South Asia closely examined the capabilities of the «Lancet-E» UCAVs. Russian specialists were also present, with the head of the Russian Navy delegation familiarising himself with the ZALA exposition.

The key feature of ZALA reconnaissance and strike systems is their proven combat effectiveness. While most analogues are tested in training grounds, ZALA-produced Lancet loitering munitions have demonstrated their capabilities in real conditions in the zone of the Special Military Operation, including in the fight against one of the most pressing modern threats – unmanned surface vessels (USVs).

In the Black Sea, Russian missile systems have successfully destroyed high-speed uncrewed surface vessels, including Ukrainian Magura V5 and V7 models. According to open sources, since the start of hostilities, at least 37 enemy unmanned surface vessels have been destroyed by Lancet loitering munitions, and this figure continues to grow. Among the most notable incidents are... A precise strike on the Magura V7 boat, who attempted to attack the Crimean Bridge, as well as destruction of an unmanned vessel near the Golitsynskoye gas field.

The export version of the «Lancet-E» UAV system includes the Z-16E reconnaissance UAV, equipped with a machine vision system capable of automatic target detection and tracking, as well as the «Product 51E» and «Product 52E» loitering munitions. The operation of ZALA T-16 UAVs in Antarctica takes place in extreme conditions, which place increased demands on the equipment and serve as the best test of its reliability. Low temperatures, strong winds, complex terrain, and altitude variations – ZALA unmanned aerial systems, developed with experience gained from working in the Arctic, Antarctic, and other hard-to-reach regions, have confirmed their ability to effectively solve tasks in the harshest conditions.

During planned scientific monitoring work on the ice continent, the ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicle was fully taken under the control of operators from the Moscow Flight Control Centre at a certain stage. Furthermore, integration with the ZALA 4Z1x digital platform allowed specialists in Izhevsk and Moscow to simultaneously receive telemetry and high-quality video transmission from the unmanned vehicle.

The video and telemetry data obtained from the UAV provided SAE scientists with unique information for biological and environmental monitoring, as well as for research into the dynamics of glaciers and the coastal zone of the fifth continent. The ability to rapidly receive up-to-date data from the office in Moscow significantly broadens the horizons for planning fieldwork and allows scientists to concentrate more effectively on priority tasks.

This flight confirmed the high reliability of the solutions used: Previously, the company had successfully used similar principles to control an unmanned vessel in Antarctica with an external pilot from Izhevsk. The current stage demonstrates the readiness of the unmanned aviation system (UAS) for constant practical application.

During the exhibition, negotiations and demonstrations of the Lancet-E RUC capabilities were held for representatives of defence departments and technological structures of foreign countries. The exposition was visited by the Commander of the National Guard of Saudi Arabia and the Minister of Defence of Sri Lanka.

It should be noted that ZALA has a full package of authorisation documentation for export of Lancet-E RUC, which allows for prompt practical implementation of contracts.
