A Ukrainian Leopard tank and Caesar self-propelled howitzer were destroyed by calculations of ZALA «Lancet» UAVs near Dobropillya.

The calculations of ZALA «Lancet» UCAVs belonging to the «Center» group of troops, using ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs, revealed the movement of equipment to the line of combat contact in the enemy's rear. Lancet loitering munitions were promptly used against the targets. The footage from the «Lancets» shows how the On-board intelligent target acquisition and recognition system (IRRA), capturing the moving equipment and ensuring accurate strikes. As a result, destroyed Leopard tank of German manufacture and handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine French Caesar self-propelled gun.

The operators of ZALA's Lancet UAVs note the continuous improvement of communication channels and intelligent systems of ZALA UAVs, which ensures their effectiveness against a wide range of targets.

«The technology is very interesting, and it’s developing, I would say, at an incredible speed, because there are constant updates and various improvements. Improved communication, as well as improved EW performance – that plays the most important role,» said reconnaissance operator Ildar Kaloev.

A firing gun, a concentration of equipment, a camouflaged deployment point - the system instantly identifies priority targets and transmits precise data to strike units.

Another advantage is the onboard cameras with a machine vision system for automatic avoidance of aerial collisions. The equipment independently performs manoeuvres, freeing the operator from the need to intervene in critical situations.

During aerial reconnaissance, enemy armoured vehicle movement was recorded on a night road – the enemy attempted to redeploy assault groups to the front line at the junction of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles were engaged by a Lancet loitering munition, equipped with Intelligent targeting and recognition system IRRA, which left no chance for the enemy, despite an attempt to speed up. ZALA T-16 UAVs step up air monitoring of fuel and energy complex infrastructure during spring floods

Operators of ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicles have increased the frequency of aerial monitoring of the extensive infrastructure of the fuel and energy sector in central Russia, prompted by the risks associated with the spring floods.

Meltwater erodes the soil, causing erosion of supports, flooding of protective structures, and exposure of pipes, which can lead to their deformation, depressurisation, and environmental consequences. Ice jams pose a particular danger.

To quickly identify these risks, the ZALA T-16 will employ Advanced tools based on the IRRA hardware-software complex with artificial intelligence. Real-time machine vision algorithms process data from video cameras and thermal imagers – the system automatically classifies deviations and transmits ready signals about flooded areas or ground collapses to the operator. Thanks to integration with the ZALA 4Z1 platform, customer representatives can receive operational information in real-time and make management decisions based on objective data about what is happening. The T-16 flight duration is over four hours. In a single sortie, it inspects more than 75 km of pipelines, and uninterrupted operation is maintained even in a complex radio-electronic environment due to stable communication and alternative navigation.

In early May, monitoring will also be intensified in the northern regions – here, according to specialists, the risks of flooding remain until September.

The onboard intelligent guidance and target recognition system, IRRA, helped a Lancet operator acquire a moving Humvee and deliver a precision strike. Objective control of enemy equipment destruction was provided by a second loitering munition in the same sector, which then, with the support of the IRRA system, destroyed a Ukrainian Novator armoured vehicle.

According to the publication, Russia is «creating Lancet drones that can circle in the sky and autonomously select targets.« Originally human-controlled, this UAV »is now equipped with an autonomous guidance function.» Experts compare what is happening to a new type of confrontation: algorithms fighting against algorithms, and humans are already unable to compete with them.

Specialists emphasise that the evolution of the «Lancet» reflects a global trend. Countries are implementing AI into military systems one after another in order to make faster decisions and increase strike effectiveness. The recognisability and real combat effectiveness of ZALA's products are no longer merely tactical successes. They confirm: the company is among the world leaders in the creation of autonomous strike systems.
