										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ZALA showcased upgraded versions and innovative solutions in the field of communications and navigation at the 19th International Exhibition of the Helicopter Industry and Unmanned Aerial Systems, HeliRussia 2026, in Moscow.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As exhibitors note, the Russian aviation industry is currently undergoing a major transformation, shifting from traditional aviation systems to unmanned technologies and digital control platforms utilising artificial intelligence. The focus of visitors to stand ZALA is on — <a href="https://zala-aero.com/en/news/zala-geokosmos-nadyozhnaya-svyaz-i-navigacziya-bez-sputnikov-i-mobilnyh-setej/">The Sovereign New Generation Communication and Navigation System «GEOS COSMOS»</a>, developed for reliable operation under conditions of suppression of traditional data transmission channels. </p>



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow"><p>«Artificial intelligence forms the basis of this system to ensure security, channel encryption and communication reliability. And we have specifically created this version to develop the national economy of the Russian Federation as a sovereign communications and navigation system is being established,» a ZALA representative told NTV journalists.</p></blockquote>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At HeliRussia, ZALA also unveiled updated versions of its most sought-after systems for rapid, high-quality aerial monitoring of extensive sites — the ZALA T-16 and ZALA T-20. The UAV’s flight time has been increased by 35–40%, and the resolution of aerial photography has risen from 30–40 megapixels to 60. The key difference in the latest models is the integration of the IRRA on-board software and hardware complex, based on artificial intelligence, for autonomous search and identification of objects. This solution has significantly improved the accuracy of anomaly detection and data processing speed.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></strong>Instructors from ZALA took part in a training and methodological workshop for specialists from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ departments responsible for the deployment and operation of unmanned aerial vehicles. More than 120 staff members from the ministry’s regional divisions not only familiarised themselves with promising models of ZALA unmanned technology, but also tested them in practice. The event took place in the mountainous terrain of the Republic of Dagestan, which provided an ideal setting to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of the aerial and ground-based systems.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The participants were presented with the modernised T-16M aircraft-type unmanned complex. The unmanned aircraft has received new communication channels and is designed for prolonged monitoring of vast territories with complex wind conditions. Additionally, the aircraft is capable of stable operation in mountainous terrain.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The key novelty of the show also became <a href="https://zala-aero.com/en/news/universalnyj-trudyaga-novaya-robotizirovannaya-platforma-zala-gx-3/">ZALA universal ground-based robotic platform</a>. The system has been developed to minimise risks to personnel when carrying out tasks in hard-to-reach and potentially hazardous areas. In its standard configuration, the NRTK ZALA maintains a stable connection over a range of up to 5 kilometres. When operating in conjunction with a UAV acting as an airborne relay, the reliable control range increases to 30 kilometres.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The equipment on display is the result of many years of close collaboration between ZALA and law enforcement agencies. The company is continuously developing its range of unmanned solutions, drawing on the real-world combat and operational experience of law enforcement units.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></strong>Today, Russia's fuel and energy complex is a recognised global leader in the scale and pace of unmanned technology adoption. In just five years, the proportion of companies in the sector using artificial intelligence has tripled – such rapid growth confirms a high readiness for innovation and further solidifies Russia's global lead in the practical application of these solutions.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the forefront of this movement is ZALA. The company's cumulative flight distance for civilian aerial complexes has reached a record 55 million km. This distance is equivalent to 1,375 laps around the Earth at the equator. This level of intensity is due to the technological evolution of its systems.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The key change in recent years has been the shift from video recording to autonomous data analysis directly on board. <a href="https://zala-aero.com/en/news/bvs-zala-poluchili-novye-bortovye-sistemy-s-ii-dlya-provedeniya-aviamonitoringa-obektov-tek/">IRRA hardware and software complex</a> allows UAVs to process video streams in real-time and detect deviations. In conditions of active electronic interference, the stability of the unmanned complex is ensured by protected communication and alternative navigation. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></strong><a href="https://zala-aero.com/en/news/zala-geokosmos-nadyozhnaya-svyaz-i-navigacziya-bez-sputnikov-i-mobilnyh-setej/">The domestic high-precision communication and navigation system «GEOKOSMOS» developed by ZALA»</a> For the first time in Russia, safe echeloning and remote control of heterogeneous UAVs over distances of more than 100 kilometres have been provided without the use of satellite communications.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On 17 April, a demonstration of a secure command and control line for unmanned aircraft systems and independent navigation was successfully carried out with the participation of the State Air Traffic Management Corporation, the State Research Institute of Civil Aviation, JSC GLONASS, JSC NIAT, and SIC Telecom. Beyond-visual-range flights of ZALA T-20 and «AIST» (Drone Solutions) unmanned aerial vehicles were conducted on parallel courses with altitude separation without direct radio visibility and with dynamic control. During the trials, the «GEOKOSMOS» system confirmed compatibility with the onboard systems of both manufacturers and compliance with the requirements of Russian President's Directive No. 383 of 16.01.2026.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The technologies underpinning the domestic communications and navigation system «GEOCOSMOS» will, in the near future, enable the creation of a unified sovereign management and navigation ecosystem for Russia's unmanned aviation, realising the concept of a seamless digital sky within the framework of the national project «Unmanned Aviation Systems».</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A ZALA representative gave a report on «The Application of Unmanned Aerial Systems and AI Technologies in the Operational Activities of Internal Affairs Ministry Units» as part of an international scientific and practical conference held on 10–11 April in <a href="https://университет.мвд.рф/Press-sluzhba/Novosti/item/83169941/">Saint Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia</a>. The event was organised by the Department of Internal Affairs Activities in Special Conditions and brought together over 300 participants – representatives from educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Investigative Committee, Federal Penitentiary Service, Rosgvardia, as well as delegates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Zimbabwe, Nicaragua, representatives of scientific and production bodies, territorial bodies, and special equipment manufacturers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ZALA unmanned systems have been serving in law enforcement agencies since 2006. Today, in <a href="https://zala-aero.com/en/news/zala-t-16-obespechat-sobljudenie-pravoporjadka-v-regionah-strana/">in the park of unmanned aerial vehicles of many units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are modernized UAVs ZALA T-16 and ZALA T-20</a>, equipped with an onboard hardware and software complex based on artificial intelligence for autonomous object search and identification. These functions allow staff to effectively monitor the situation in their controlled area and respond quickly to changes in the environment. The flight endurance of the T-16 is over 4 hours, and the T-20 is over 7 hours. Reliable communication and alternative navigation ensure uninterrupted operation even in a complex radio-electronic environment, transmitting high-quality real-time video information to law enforcement agencies.</p>

In honour of this date, large-scale scientific forums will be held in many countries. Today, technologies that once existed only in theory have become part of our everyday lives.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ZALA, the Russian market leader in unmanned aerial systems with more than 20 years of experience, is actively implementing artificial intelligence technologies in the civilian sector. The company's specialists told the project <a href="https://t.me/npnauka/11086">SCIENCE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION </a>on how onboard neural networks dramatically improve the efficiency of unmanned aircraft systems.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The modern ZALA UAVs are equipped with <a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/656">integrated software and hardware complex based on machine vision</a>. In real time, right on board the UAV, algorithms analyse data from video cameras and thermal imagers, automatically detecting fires, oil spills and other abnormal situations. The AI identifies targets and instantly transmits their coordinates to the control centre. Thanks to extensive application practice - from the needs of the fuel and energy sector to rescue operations - neural networks are constantly learning, increasing the speed and quality of incident recognition by many times.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In addition, ZALA has introduced AI into the<a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/641"> collision avoidance system</a>. Additional cameras allow the UAV to autonomously detect approaching objects and change course or speed. This makes ZALA UAVs «smarter» with every flight, paving the way for the safe use of unmanned systems in urban and industrial environments.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Participants of the Moscow forum «Drontech: Ecosystem for Unmanned Aviation» discussed in detail the capabilities of ZALA's GEOCOSMOS communication and navigation system.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The system makes it possible to unite air, ground and marine robotic complexes of various purposes in a single protected information space and ensure their control and navigation in the absence of satellite and cellular signals.
ZALA GEOKOSMOS is a fully domestic development, from software to technical implementation.
The key feature of the system is the use of software-defined radio (SDR) technology. Through dynamic frequency reallocation over a wide range of frequencies, it allows to expand the system's capabilities, protect data channels and ensure communication stability. This creates a reliable ecosystem for data transmission, control and positioning throughout the country.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The ZALA exposition aroused great interest among the professional community.<a href="https://t.me/kapotta/11090"> It was visited by Andrey Potemkin, deputy head of Rosaviatsia, and Ivan Sovetnikov, head of Rosleskhoz</a>. It is worth noting that Rosaviatsia representatives were presented with the capabilities of the latest digital technologies developed by ZALA specialists for the operation of civil unmanned aircraft, <a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/446">were demonstrated on the example of real ZALA ballistic missile flights during the </a><a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/446">visits</a><a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/446"> </a><a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/446">to the Italmas plant in Izhevsk.</a></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The ZALA company won in the "Perfect Autonomy" category at the inaugural "DroneTech. The Code of the Future" industry award. The award was presented for breakthrough developments in autonomous control and navigation systems. The ceremony took place on the first day of the NAIS-2026 and DRONETECH exhibitions, dedicated to innovations in aviation infrastructure and unmanned technologies, held in Moscow on February 4-5.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph translation-block">The central exhibit at the company's stand was the new-generation domestic protected communication and navigation network,  <a href="https://t.me/ZALA_INT/631" target="_self">ZALA "GEOCOSMOS"</a>. Experts note that this ready-made solution will allow Russian operators in the near future to control unmanned systems without using satellites, the internet, and under active electronic warfare suppression.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The development of the "GEOCOSMOS" system reflects ZALA's comprehensive approach to creating full-cycle solutions in the field of unmanned aerial systems: from manufacturing the airframes and payloads to developing its own software. These innovations find application in diverse areas, including security, monitoring, geological exploration, environmental control, emergency response, and others.</p>

It guarantees secure data exchange, high-precision positioning, and real-time collision avoidance for unmanned and autonomous systems, even when traditional channels are unavailable or suppressed.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The technology extends far beyond the use of unmanned aerial systems. &quot;GEOCOSMOS&quot; is a universal infrastructure platform for providing communications and navigation for manned aircraft, ground vehicles, sea and river vessels, and robotic systems. The system has already been deployed in three regions of Russia, where it is actively used to ensure national border security.</p>

<strong></strong>ZALA is expanding its monitoring coverage of linear facilities and fuel and energy infrastructure. The company has signed new contracts for comprehensive aerial monitoring of oilfields in Western Siberia. The total volume of work in the region will exceed 48,000 kilometers by the end of 2027.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A larger, three-year project to monitor oil and gas infrastructure in the Orenburg and Samara regions began in 2026. The annual work volume will be over 107,000 kilometers of pipelines. The project will run through 2028.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The modernized ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicle, which has proven its effectiveness in the challenging climatic conditions of Siberia and the Far North, is used to perform these tasks. Automated monitoring allows fuel and energy companies not only to improve facility safety but also to optimize processes based on real-time data. It should be noted that in 2025 <a href="https://t.me/ZalaAero/687">cumulative flight time of ZALA UAVs</a> in the interests of the fuel and energy complex of Russia exceeded 5 million kilometers.</p>
