ZALA Z-16 operators provide correction and objective control of artillery operations, increasing the effectiveness of strikes on enemy strongholds and other targets.

«Our complex is called Z-16 it has a programme for dodging enemy anti-aircraft drones, the so-called "Eye". It has a very high speed, it can evade them quite quickly. We can go about 100 kilometres behind enemy lines and conduct reconnaissance and adjust firepower there,» said the operator of the ZALA Z-16 UAV with the call sign «Yaryy».

The unit is also armed with Lancet barrage munitions. Their task is to destroy high-priority targets with pinpoint accuracy.

«We regularly manage to identify such enemy assets as UAS, tanks, radars. We hit them with Lancet barrage munitions, which has an automatic target acquisition system. We hit 100 out of 100," said the commander of the BPS reconnaissance units with the call sign Strela.
