In the Astrakhan region, an elderly woman left home and did not return. The relatives of the missing woman contacted law enforcement authorities and reported that the woman, born in 1946, was suffering from memory loss. During the search, it was established that the elderly Astrakhan woman was seen by employees of a farm located in the village of Chagan. A reconnaissance flight was carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Rosgvardiya Department of the Astrakhan Region in the area of an island adjacent to the village of Chagan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the aerial reconnaissance, the possible locations of the missing woman were examined. After an hour, the emaciated woman was found in a forest area, after which she was returned home to her relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also in July last year, in Krasnoyarsk Krai, a woman missing in the taiga was found by Rosgvardiya officers using a ZALA drone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Employees of the special purpose aviation unit of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Rosgvardiya Directorate together with police officers using an unmanned aerial vehicle searched for a woman who had lost her way in a forest in the Bolsheuluysky district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman's disappearance became known on 6 July, when her husband, a resident of Kytat settlement, contacted the police. He reported that his wife, born in 1979, had gone to the forest to pick berries and had not returned home by the agreed time. The search for the missing woman, which was conducted by a specially formed team, was hampered by the strong swampiness of the taiga, which is why employees of the Rosgvardiya AOSN drone group joined the effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"During nighttime flights of the unmanned aerial vehicle, using a thermal imaging camera, we determined the missing person's probable location. The coordinates were immediately transmitted to police.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On checking the said area, the woman was found and her life was not threatened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
