In Bashkiria, criminals were detained with the help of drones

As a result of a special operation in Beloretsk, the thieves of a large consignment of ferrous metal were detained.

Transport police officers and riot police were involved in the search operation. The intruders dragged almost 300 kilogrammes of iron from the freight train into their car and fled. The law enforcers had to organise a pursuit. All the actions of the suspects were monitored by Rosgvardia drones. The kidnappers tried to evade the chase by abandoning their car and travelling by hitchhiking and taxis. The identities of the detainees have already been established - they are previously convicted local residents. The guards have instituted criminal proceedings. For theft committed by a group of persons and by prior conspiracy, a penalty of up to 5 years' imprisonment is provided.
