Krasnodar ZALA flight team made its 50,000th flight

On 30 November 2018, the 50,000th flight of the ZALA AERO GROUP unit providing services in the interests of fuel and energy companies took place. The flight was performed by the company's Krasnodar flying unit, using a ZALA 421-16E2 unmanned aerial vehicle system.

Every day, each of ZALA AERO's flight teams performs up to 5 flights, in which unmanned aircraft cover up to 500 kilometres, performing video monitoring and aerial photography tasks in the interests of the country's largest oil and gas companies - Rosneft, Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, Transneft - in 40 regions of the Russian Federation. ZALA AERO has been providing video monitoring and aerial photography services for the oil and gas sector since 2014.

At that time, for the first time in Russia on the basis of the Samotlor oil and gas field, ZALA AERO specialists together with employees of Samotlorneftegaz JSC developed a system of round-the-clock monitoring of oil and gas production and transportation facilities using UAVs, which proved its efficiency. Now the use of unmanned aviation is part of the technological process of the largest oil and gas companies in Russia.

The accumulated experience in the application of unmanned aircraft systems in the civilian sector has allowed the company to create its own information ecosystem, including automation of real-time data transmission and processing processes throughout the country, introduction of artificial intelligence in monitoring and post-processing, cloud services, and offline resources.
