Leopard Land National Park assessed the capabilities of the ZALA balloons

On 1 and 2 October, at the invitation of the Director of the Leopard Land National Park, ZALA AERO specialists conducted demonstration flights in the village of Barabash in the Kedrovaya Pad Nature Reserve.

The flights were carried out by two unmanned systems -ZALA 421-16EZALA 421-16E2 During the flights, the spectators were shown the capabilities of the unmanned complex, and poachers were unexpectedly discovered at the mouth of the river.

The park's management plans to use drones to protect protected areas from poachers, to monitor the population of ungulates - the food base of the Far Eastern leopard and Amur tiger, and to survey forest areas during the fire-dangerous period.

Other potential applications of ZALA drones include creating elevation models of the national park using special optics, which can be effective for assessing the natural complex.

Representatives of the Far East Forestry Department were also present at the event.
