ZALA AERO took part in EMERCOM command and staff exercises

ZALA AERO took part in a command-staff exercise of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Votkinskiy district, Udmurt Republic.

From 22 to 23 September 2020 unmanned systems ZALA AERO took part in the planned command and staff exercise on protection from emergency situations (ES) related to oil and oil products spill on the territory of the Udmurt Republic, practiced practical actions on detection and elimination of emergencies by emergency services.

The exercise was conducted jointly with representatives of the Government of the UR, the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the UR, the Administration of the Votkinskiy District Municipality and JSC Transneft-Prikamye.

A small-size complex ZALA 421-22 with the target load "Gas analyser" with the range of detectable gases concentration from 0.01 to 1000 mg/m3 was used for reconnaissance of the emergency situation.

The ZALA AERO squadron successfully passed the tests and performed HD video shooting in real time with subsequent transfer of the obtained data to the concerned authorities of the Udmurt Republic.

During the same period, ZALA AERO complexes were involved in similar command and staff exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but already in the city of Pugachev, Saratov region. The main task was to identify zones of possible emergencies from the air in order to timely identify the degree of possible oil spreading along river beds.

Based on the results of the exercise, the readiness of the management bodies was assessed, and proposals for improving the detection and elimination of emergencies were voiced.
