«Aurora-BAS» mastering firefighting capabilities of ZALA T-16 in the skies over Sakhalin Island
Unmanned technologies are becoming an integral part of key sectors of the Russian economy. The development of domestic unmanned systems and the possibilities of application of the ZALA T-16 complex were described in the report of the TV channel «Russia-24».».
One of the centres of industry development is Sakhalin, where the infrastructure of the Pusisty droneport has been deployed. It is from here, from the local Flight Control Centre, that the company's specialists «Aurora-BAS.» conducted training flights to monitor forest fires using the ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicle system. Equipped with high-quality optical and thermal imaging equipment, the UAV allows round-the-clock inspection of hard-to-reach areas and real-time detection of smoke and fire centres. The company's specialists note that the T-16 can cover up to 200 kilometres during a four-hour flight.
ZALA's forest fire detection technologies are already being actively used in practice: they are in service with forest guard services and divisions EMERCOM in many parts of the country.
