The Wings of Sakhalin International Forum dedicated to drones of all types started at the Pusisty droneport in the Sakhalin Region. The kick-off event was a drone parade, where ZALA specialists demonstrated the capabilities of the ZALA T-16 UAV.

In welcoming remarks Valery Limarenko, Governor of the Sakhalin Oblast, noted, that the development of unmanned technologies is one of the priority areas of the regional industrial policy. He recalled that on 5 September at the Eastern Economic Forum, the Russian President suggested that the Sakhalin Oblast's experience in using drones should be replicated in other regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.

At the forum ZALA specialists presented to the governor innovative solutions within the framework of the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" - a communication and navigation complex ZALA "GEOCOSMOS". This technology allows the UAV to be controlled in the absence of direct radio visibility, creating a flexible and secure system for real-time data exchange. The Governor was personally convinced of the system's efficiency by taking the control panel in his hands during the ZALA T-16 demonstration flights and highly appreciated the company's developments.

At the Sakhalin EXPO exhibition "The future is closer than it seems", which also takes place at the forum venues, ZALA specialists presented an innovative a system for collision avoidance and obstacle avoidance for civilian PBCs. As a reminder, by 1 March 2026, all aircraft and large UASs must be equipped with a collision avoidance system.

It should be noted that the range of innovative solutions presented by ZALA is designed to accelerate the development of civil unmanned aviation in Russia and expand the possibilities of its effective application in various sectors of the economy.
