Winner of the tender for provision of services at the facilities of ZAPSIBTRANSGAS LLC

ZALA AERO GROUP became the best in the competitive selection for the provision of services on conducting overflights by unmanned aerial systems at the facilities of ZAPSIBTRANSGAZ LLC.
The main task of the flights is regular high-precision surveying of condensate pipelines and adjacent terrain with subsequent stitching of orthophotos. Airborne monitoring will be used to determine the locations of unauthorised actions of third parties, locations of people and vehicles, violation of the integrity of objects, etc.
Three ZALA AERO flight teams will perform flights in the pipeline corridor using the latest generation of unmanned systems equipped with HD cameras and on-board computer. To ensure maximum safety at the Customer's facilities, monitoring will be carried out both during the day and at night using thermal imaging cameras.
The linear part of aviation monitoring will cover more than 2,700 kilometres and will be carried out in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, as well as the Tyumen Region.
From the beginning of 2022, the flight teams will start performing the first phases of aviation monitoring works. The full range of services will be performed for 3 years, inclusive until the end of 2024.
The majority of Zapsibtransgaz facilities are located in inaccessible terrain and pass through swamps, large navigable rivers, as well as many channels of small rivers and lakes, which is why the use of unmanned aerial systems is the optimal choice for monitoring. ZALA UAVs can be used at extremely low temperatures (down to -55°C) and strong winds (15 m/s), which is a mandatory characteristic for the application of the systems in the harsh conditions of Western Siberia.
