ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV helped destroy an AFU command post in Sumy region

Russian servicemen from the "North" force group, together with border guards from the Kursk region, successfully struck a blow against the command post of the 47th separate mechanised brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces in the village of Korovnitsy in the Sumy region. A large concentration of equipment and personnel behind enemy lines was detected during aerial reconnaissance with ZALA Z-16 UAS. The target was struck with a combined missile strike by the Iskander multiple rocket launcher and the Tornado-S MLRS.

It is noted that the high-quality video signal from the ZALA ballistic missile launcher allowed the fighters to thoroughly "make out" the target before giving the coordinates to the Iskander and Tornado calculations. The location of the command post, the communications centre and the location of the personnel were studied from all sides, which ensured high accuracy of the missile strike. This can be seen on the ZALA Z-16 objective control footage.

As a result of the joint operation, 18 pieces of equipment were destroyed and 75 servicemen, including 20 officers, were eliminated.
