Happy Civil Defence Day of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry!

October 4 is Civil Defence Day in Russia. This date symbolises the continuity of generations - from local air defence fighters to EMERCOM specialists shaping the modern look of the system for protecting the population. Today, civil defence is an essential part of the country's national security, protecting citizens and infrastructure from military, natural and man-made threats.
