Ukrainian Bukovel-AD fails to cope with the ZALA Lancet complex

The Ukrainian Bukovel-AD electronic warfare complex was not ready for the Lancet. Servicemen of the "North" force group during aerial reconnaissance using the ZALA Z-16 UAS detected an electronic warfare station in a camouflaged AFU dugout in Kharkiv Region. The electronic warfare equipment was destroyed by a direct hit from a Lancet barrage munition. The liquidation of another Bukovel was recorded by the objective control of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance aircraft.
The Bukovel-AD electronic warfare system was developed by the Belgian company Proximus for early detection and suppression of medium-range unmanned reconnaissance and strike aircraft systems. Despite the direct purpose of the REB complex is to block the control and navigation signals of UAVs, Bukovels regularly fall under the crosshairs of ZALA's Lancet reconnaissance-attack systems. Experts noteIn addition to the signals of the barrage munition, which is equipped with onboard AI to search for and identify priority targets, the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAS, which coordinates and objectively monitors the use of the Lancet in real time, sometimes fails to see the signals of the Lancet.
