ZALA T-16: Search for spent rocket stages at the Vostochny Cosmodrome«
On Vostochny Cosmodrome« training flights of ZALA unmanned systems took place. Space centre specialists practised the tasks of controlling ZALA T-16 UAVs, which are used to monitor the areas where launch vehicle separation parts fall.
The ZALA T-16 unmanned aircraft-type complex, equipped with optical and thermal imaging equipment, enables remote inspection of vast and hard-to-reach areas at any time of day. According to the operators, the time to make the complex operational does not exceed 15 minutes. The ballistic missile can stay in the air for more than four hours and travel over 75 kilometres from the launch point.
During the training, specialists not only improved their piloting skills, but also practised the use of software in various conditions.
