The ZALA Z-16 is carrying out combat missions in the Slavic direction of the Special Military Operation.
Operators of reconnaissance UAVs from the ZALA Z-16 of the «Southern» grouping of troops have ensured the defeat of enemy infantry in the Slavyansk direction. During round-the-clock duty, the ZALA crew performs a wide range of tasks: from adjusting artillery fire and air strikes to counter-battery warfare. Particular attention is paid to camouflaged targets, ammunition depots, and temporary enemy deployment points in forest belts and settlements.
«At the moment, pre-assault artillery shelling was being carried out in the area of Krivaya Luka for landings. Accordingly, we were adjusting the „Uragans“ and „Grads“,» explained the officer with the call sign «Kasper».
As noted by the Russian Ministry of Defence, high resistance to electronic warfare assets and automated data processing allow the ZALA Z-16 to minimise the time between detecting a target and its elimination.
