Description

The ZALA Z-22 helicopter-type UAV is designed for aerial survey, laser scanning, and cargo delivery.

It is easy to launch and land, does not require a prepared take-off and landing site, is characterised by resistance to low temperatures and fault tolerance.

The ZALA Z-22 design allows the combination of up to three target loads simultaneously. The target loads are compatible with aircraft-type ballistic missiles.

Key benefits

  • Fault tolerance: flight at 7 out of 8 engines
  • Resistance to low temperatures
  • Application of target loads "Type 16E"
  • Carries up to 3 target loads simultaneously
  • Signal retransmission

ZALA DRONE DELIVERY
Transport drone for delivery services

A cargo aircraft does not need to build complex logistical routes and does not care about traffic density. The cargo aircraft does not need to build complex logistical routes and does not care about traffic density.

Main characteristics of the cargo drone

  • Load weight up to 1kg
  • Range up to 15 km (not limited if cellular communication is available)*
  • Deployment in 10 min
  • 3 deliveries per hour

Cargo drone capabilities

The system automatically establishes the optimal route and co-ordinates it with the authorities that regulate air traffic. The mapping of the terrain is accurate to within 2 centimetres.

Interference-resistant communication channels allow the aircraft to be controlled even at ultra-low altitudes. At the same time, the UAVs are capable of operating in difficult weather conditions: in rain and snow, in strong winds of up to 15 metres per second, and at night.

The control systems are duplicated, so the vehicle has increased fault tolerance. For example, the aircraft is able to return to the launch point on its own, even if only 7 out of 8 engines are working.

The automated control process allows cargo to be delivered in groups of two or more drones. The drone operator can transmit monitoring data to the coordination centre in real time.

Key benefits

  • Transport by the shortest possible route to any location in the least amount of time.
  • Bypass any obstacle thanks to laser scanning.
  • Automatic compilation and coordination of the optimal route.
  • Confident control of the vehicle even at ultra-low altitudes.
  • Automated control of a group of aircraft.
  • Stable operation during rain, snow, strong winds, and at night.
  • High resistance to failure due to redundant control systems.
  • Confirmation of delivery with photos and video.
  • A ready-made "boxed" solution that can be easily adapted to fulfil any kind of task.

The ZDD transport UAV differs from conventional cargo quadcopters by the number of engines, increased reliability and a unique terrain scanning system.
