In the course of the Special Military Operation, the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation are actively using Lancet barrage munitions "Izdeliye-51 and -52" produced by the ZALA Group of Companies. "The Lancet is constantly being improved and modernised to meet the requirements and wishes of barrage munition operators. As of today: the radius of use of the "Product-51" has been increased, the guidance system has been modernised, and a modification with thermal imager for night time use has been put into operation. These and other design solutions from ZALA developers provide the operator with enhanced capabilities and allow to fulfil the tasks set by the command to destroy the enemy's equipment and infrastructure in conditions of active work of REB means.

According to the statistics of the military analytical portal LOSTARMOUR As of 12-00 MSC on 29 January 2024, 1,000 episodes of Lancet use have been openly published.

Let's look in detail at the statistics of 1000 episodes of application:

• 84% targets damaged or destroyed
• 10% strikes using an upgraded guidance system
• 5% of hits are accounted for by the thermal imaging modification ("Night Lancet")
• 5% of applications had to be on moving targets
• 1.5% destroys multiple targets in a single strike

The primary targets of the Lancet barrage munitions are:

• Artillery (SAU, guns and mortars, MLRS) - 50%. "Lancets" - damaged or destroyed 2/3 of 155 mm howitzers M777
• Tanks - 15%. Various models of tanks were destroyed or damaged, including Leopard 2A6 tanks
• Light armoured vehicles and 13% vehicles. Targets included APCs and BMPs, support vehicles, including those transferred by NATO countries
• 7% radar and communications stations. Episodes of use on both large stations and small radars have been recorded
• Air Defence Systems - 6%. "Lancets" were used against SAMs produced both in the USSR and NATO countries, e.g. S-300, "Iris-T", "Buk" and others.
• Other targets - 9%. Rare but no less significant targets - special vehicles - 11, watercraft - 10, aircraft - 3 episodes
