ZALA AERO continues successful co-operation with JSC RN-Nyaganneftegaz

ZALA AERO continues its successful cooperation with one of the largest oil production companies in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, Tyumen Region - RN-Nyaganneftegaz JSC. Monitoring of the oil company's infrastructure using ZALA unmanned aerial systems will be carried out in 2020 and 2021.

Under the terms of the contract, the ZALA flight team will conduct weekly aerial monitoring of the pipeline system of Rosneft's subsidiary. The total length of the monitoring routes will be 1,236 kilometres. Based on the monitoring results, the operating service will receive photos and videos, thermal images, orthophotos, detailed report and graphic maps for each object of interest.

In 2020. It is planned to test new technologies in the field of unmanned aviation developed by ZALA AERO to improve production and economic efficiency in the transport of hydrocarbon products. The trials will include demonstrations of new thermal imaging target loads, a methane leak detection system, specialised software based on neural networks to automatically search for possible deviations, and airborne laser scanning technologies.

ZALA AERO maintains its leading position in the provision of aerial monitoring services for fuel and energy companies. ZALA unmanned aerial systems are used in monitoring and aerial photography for more than 70% of all oil producing companies. ZALA flight teams are based in almost every region of the Russian Federation and perform 80 to 100 sorties daily.

The use of ZALA drones in the oil and gas industry is based on a proven technology that has proven its effectiveness over 9 years: before the introduction of aerial monitoring, regular inspection of infrastructure was a rather labour-intensive and expensive process - traditional monitoring means are an order of magnitude more expensive and less efficient from the production point of view. The use of unmanned aircraft is much more economical and makes it possible to increase the number of sorties, significantly improve the quality of monitoring, while reducing risks to the life and health of personnel.

Continuous updating of technologies, creation of intelligent software, development of new target loads with even better optics allows the company to constantly improve the quality of remote sensing and provide the customer with monitoring results with a high level of detail and accuracy of measurements.
