ZALA "Lancet" deprived the AFU of more than 120 T-64 tanks

The T-64 has become the most mass-produced tank of the Ukrainian army. According to the data open sources Since the beginning of the Strategic Defence Forces, 121 AFU T-64 tanks have been destroyed by the ZALA Lancet reconnaissance and strike system. The operators of the Lancet barrage munitions receive the coordinates of enemy vehicles in real time from ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs. Thanks to their high manoeuvrability, high-quality video signals and the use of modern control and navigation algorithms, the Lancets are capable of attacking armoured vehicles from an unexpected angle, striking weakly protected areas, which often leads to the detonation of ammunition.

The T-64 tank, developed in the 1960s, became one of the main fighting vehicles of the AFU armoured forces. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine inherited hundreds of these tanks, which were modernised to the T-64BV, T-64BM Bulat and other versions. These tanks are distinguished by their combined armour, 125 mm gun and relatively high mobility. In the course of modernisation, the latest versions of the combat vehicles also received modern thermal imaging cameras, a satellite navigation system, a digital radio station and updated dynamic protection. According to the Ukrainian media, the Ukrainian army had about 800 active T-64 tanks in service at the beginning of the SSO.

We present a selection of shots of objective control of Lancet use against T-64 tanks of the AFU.
