«Aurora-BAS demonstrated the capabilities of the ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicle for monitoring forest fires.

Demonstration flights of the upgraded ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) took place at the Pushisty drone port in the Sakhalin Region. An event organized by Aurora-BAS«, Representatives of the Ministry of Digital and Technological Development, the regional Forestry and Hunting Agency, and specialists from the Wings of Sakhalin Scientific and Production Center visited the event.

Equipped with a thermal imager and high-resolution cameras, the ZALA T-16 is capable of detecting fires at an early stage. All data from the UAV is automatically tagged and transmitted to the ground control station, providing real-time access to the data. The system was delivered as part of contract, concluded between ZALA and Aurora-BAS in 2025.
