ZALA «Lancet» RUCs of the «GROM Cascade» brigade cover the Kursk border area

The ZALA Lancet reconnaissance and strike system of the GROM Kaskad brigade is working to cover the Kursk border area, advancing in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. The enemy territory is under round-the-clock surveillance by ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs. Among the priority targets are the enemy's electronic warfare systems; Lancet operators share footage of the destruction of the Swedish Arthur radar system by barrage munitions; military vehicle depots and AFU artillery are also being hunted. A special cause for pride is the destruction of a British-made tank.

«Just as the attack was heading for Kursk in August of the 24th, we hit a Challenger. I don't know if it was the first or the second one, but we hit one,» said a senior technician of the brigade's reconnaissance-impact calculation, GROM «Cascade» with the call sign «Kumach».

According to the fighters, the quality of the footage is so clear that from an altitude of 1 kilometre, enemy personnel and ground fortifications can be recognised on the screen. The intelligent, real-time targeting and object recognition system also helps identify and hit the target accurately.

In addition, ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs have repeatedly detected HIMARS launchers and provided objective monitoring of their destruction by surface-to-air missile systems and strike UAVs.
