The ZALA «Lancet» SAM system destroyed an AFU IRIS-T SAM on the Kherson direction
The AFU's German IRIS-T SLM SAM was detected by operators of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV of the paratroopers of the Dnipro troop group 15 kilometres deep at the front in the Kherson direction. Two Lancet barrage munitions struck the expensive and rare target, which the enemy was forced to bring as close to the line of contact as possible. Objective control from ZALA Z-16 confirmed the destruction of the enemy SAMs.
According to the intelligence agency, aerial monitoring using ZALA Z-16 UAVs regularly reveals camouflaged positions of artillery guns and enemy radars, which are subsequently destroyed by Lancet barrage munitions.
