ZALA Lancet UAVs of the «Dnepr» group destroyed a «Baba Yaga» and a Ukrainian Armed Forces M777 howitzer.
Operators of ZALA «Lancet» unmanned aerial vehicles of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the «Dnepr» grouping of troops spoke about their combat mission to neutralise an enemy heavy strike hexacopter and an American M777 howitzer on the right bank of the Kherson region.
In the first instance, the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV recorded Ukrainian militants on the roof of a building preparing to launch a «Baba Yaga» hexacopter. Data on the target was promptly transmitted to an assault FPV drone crew. The precise strike by the Russian UAV caused the detonation of the «Baba Yaga's» ammunition load – the destruction of which is confirmed by objective control footage from the ZALA Z-16.
The second target was a US-made M777 howitzer. TASS was told by senior operator of the unit, call sign Houdini, a functioning Ukrainian Armed Forces weapon was identified by «marks» at a distance of 33 km from the starting point. After further reconnaissance with a Z-16, the firing position was discovered. Upon the command to destroy, two «Lancet» loitering munitions were launched – both hit the target, which was confirmed by objective control from a ZALA Z-16.
