ZALA demonstrated the capabilities of the GEOCOSMOS system for protecting maritime borders at the «Wings of Sakhalin» event»
The ZALA complexes took part in large-scale exercises to protect maritime borders, held as part of the international forum «Wings of Sakhalin». As part of the exercise scenario, an unmanned boat attacked a simulated target in Mordvinov Bay. To detect the target, law enforcement officials deployed a ZALA Z-16 UAV to the area.
To manage the operation, ZALA specialists set up a mobile command post based at 4Z1 digital platform. The unmanned systems, radar station and beacon systems of various types were integrated into a single digital loop. All forces were controlled from a situation centre using the ZALA «GEOCOSMOS» sovereign communications and navigation system».
The ZALA Z-16 rapidly detected and identified the BEK target, after which it transmitted the information to the command post in real time. Based on the data received, representatives of the security agency decided to deploy a strike UAV against the simulated enemy. The results of the operation were monitored using the ZALA Z-16. Furthermore, during preparations for the exercise, a highly complex scenario was successfully practised: the search for and engagement of a stationary maritime target in the absence of a wake.
The exercises confirmed the effectiveness of ZALA solutions for protecting critical infrastructure. A unified digital network, secure communication channels and continuous data exchange ensured rapid decision-making, coordinated interaction between all participants in the operation and the successful completion of the assigned task.
