ZALA’s on-board AI technologies meet the Ministry of Defence’s current requirements
During a trip to the «Centre» grouping, Defence Minister Andrei Belousov was briefed on the use of artificial intelligence in unmanned systems.
«The main thing is that the data is processed immediately on board. These issues are technically quite complex, but they are already being resolved today,» the minister emphasised.The objectives set out by the head of the department are already being implemented by ZALA, a company which has been carrying out pioneering research in the field of on-board artificial intelligence for many years. Thus IRRA hardware-software complex The Lancet AI-based loitering munition provides automatic object recognition, tracking, and target engagement.
Solutions for intelligent navigation and increased UAV autonomy have also been developed. The application of such technologies reduces decision-making time, lessens the burden on operators, and improves efficiency in complex electronic warfare environments.
