Dnepr fighters destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces M777 howitzer with a Lancet missile.
A US-made M777 artillery gun was detected on the right bank of the Kherson River in the Kherson region by a ZALA Lancet reconnaissance and strike system crew from the Dnipro Forces Group using a ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV. The target's coordinates were transmitted to the Lancet loitering munition operators, who immediately deployed the strike UAV to the launch site.
«"As soon as we reconnoiter the target, we usually deploy the Lancet... There's a designated position where the rest of the crew is on duty. Launch time is 10 minutes," said the crew commander, call sign "Lenin.".Having quickly arrived on the scene, the crew prepared and launched the loitering munition. The Lancet successfully penetrated the enemy's electronic warfare systems, reached the enemy howitzer's position, and destroyed it.
