More than 50,000,000 kilometres of surveyed pipelines: ZALA sets the standard for aerial monitoring of the Russian fuel and energy sector

ZALA continues to strengthen its position in the market of aerial monitoring of fuel and energy facilities in Russia. Over the last ten years, the company's UAVs have surveyed over 50 million kilometres of pipelines and related facilities. For comparison, this is more than 1,200 revolutions around the Earth or 65 flights to the Moon and back.

Today, there are more than 100 ZALA flight squadron locations in Russia, which have flown more than 250,000 sorties over the past ten years. The company's unmanned aerial systems have become an indispensable tool for monitoring highways in regions where traditional control methods are difficult to access or have low performance: in the Arctic zone, remote areas of Siberia, mountainous regions of the Caucasus and Priamurye. The technical capabilities of ZALA unmanned systems, including HD video and thermal imaging data transmission over 70 kilometres, allow ground services to quickly identify and respond to technical deviations at facilities.

Comprehensive modernisation of ZALA T-16 and ZALA T-20 has significantly expanded the capabilities of UAVs for monitoring the fuel and energy complex infrastructure: the range and flight duration of UAVs have increased, and the range of universal payloads has expanded. In addition, all of the company's modern UAVs are equipped with new communication channels and an in-house developed video navigation system, which ensures autonomous operation of the aircraft in the absence or suppression of satellite signals.

The updated 4Z1 digital platform and ZALA's new unique AI-based technologies have significantly accelerated the processing of monitoring data and the detection of deviations, which is critical for prompt response to emergency situations. The company's specialists have developed and implemented a new hardware and software system capable of simultaneously analysing objects in the visible and infrared ranges, processing several video streams directly on board the UAV. ZALA also provides FEC clients with secure storage and access to aerial survey and object monitoring data from anywhere in the world, including from mobile devices.

Over more than 20 years of operation, the company has built up an extensive network of flight crews and service centres that provide round-the-clock support to operators. Based on its many years of experience, the company continues to set new standards for the provision of aviation services in the fuel and energy industry and to improve the efficiency of its customers.
