Onboard AI for the Fuel and Energy Complex: ZALA Airborne Vehicles move to real-time data analysis

ZALA introduces innovative solutions for monitoring fuel and energy facilities. The upgraded ZALA T-16 and ZALA T-20 UAVs, equipped with onboard artificial intelligence, are able to analyse video streams directly during flight, which significantly accelerates the detection of threats to critical infrastructure.

The key advantage of the technology developed by ZALA specialists was the transfer of computing power on board the unmanned vehicle. The integrated IRRA hardware and software system uses machine vision algorithms to process optical data from video cameras and thermal imager of the UAV in real time, automatically identifying deviations at fuel and energy complex facilities.

The system automatically marks detected violations and transmits information about potential threats to the ground control station. Integration with the ZALA 4Z1 digital platform provides access to video stream and analytics from onboard not only to operators, but also to customer representatives from anywhere in the world. The technology is already being used to monitor the infrastructure of Russia's largest oil and gas companies.
