The ZALA intelligent aerial patrol: «Aurora-BAS» has taken control of the roads in the Amur region

A subsidiary of the unified Far Eastern airline «Aurora», specialising in unmanned operations, has commenced aviation operations in the Amur Region using ZALA aircraft. On the instructions of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and the President’s Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, the unmanned systems are embarking on a large-scale mission across the entire Far East, and the Amur region has become the first region after Sakhalin to be reached by the ZALA system.

The client was the State Public Institution «Traffic Management Centre». The objective was to provide comprehensive monitoring of complex and accident-prone sections of road. Safety is now ensured by the ZALA T-16 vehicle-mounted systems, equipped with a unique on-board hardware and software suite IRRA. Artificial intelligence autonomously finds and identifies objects in real-time, scans the surroundings and immediately reacts to the slightest deviations, without overlooking a single metre of the road.

Reliable, interference-resistant communications and alternative navigation systems ensure the seamless operation of the ZALA T-16 even in challenging radio-electronic environments — where other solutions fall short, ZALA technologies continue to perform effectively.
