Operators of the ZALA T-16 UAV share photos of one of the most powerful auroras ever recorded.

The powerful magnetic storm that hit Earth on January 20 did not affect the scheduled flights of ZALA unmanned aerial vehicle systems for aerial monitoring of fuel and energy facilities.

Specialists The Solar Astronomy Laboratories of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences report, On the night of January 20, the magnetic storm reached a magnitude of G4.7. Such intensity creates powerful interference, but the ZALA T-16 systems demonstrated their resilience, continuing to operate reliably in these challenging conditions.

«"Yesterday we were fortunate to witness a rare natural phenomenon. The emotions and scale of what happened are difficult to describe. Perhaps these images will capture some of that grandeur or simply lift your spirits," shared a ZALA T-16 cameraman who captured the northern lights while working on sites in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
