The calculation of ZALA «Lancet» strike drones for the month revealed three AFU artillery pieces and four UAV control points.
Operators of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the «Dnepr» grouping of troops detected four UAV command posts, as well as enemy artillery and radar stations on the right bank of the Kherson region over the course of a month. Targets were destroyed, including through the use of Lancet loitering munitions.
«Our standard tasks involve locating active artillery pieces, counter-battery fire, finding UAV positions, locating radar systems, self-propelled artillery units, and further reconnaissance of various targets. In one month, four UAV positions were identified – these were locations where supplies were being delivered. Three active artillery pieces and one radar system were discovered,» stated the senior operator of the unit, call sign Houdini.
Separately The serviceman stressed the high reliability of the «Lancet» loitering munitions.», which operate effectively even in adverse weather conditions. As an example, he cited a recent incident where «in strong headwinds, a loitering "Lancet" approached without incident and reached its target.».
