The ZALA Z-16 crew provided reconnaissance and fire correction for the «Tulip» mortars during the destruction of Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds
Reconnaissance UAVs of the ZALA type, operating as part of the "Vostok" military group, have identified enemy strongpoints in the Zaporizhzhia sector. The enemy has set up shelters in the woodland areas to house its troops.
The received coordinates were promptly relayed to the crew of a 2S4 «Tyulpan» 240mm self-propelled mortar. After firing adjustment shots, the artillerymen corrected their aim based on the reconnaissance data. Heavy munitions weighing a quarter of a tonne were used to target the identified strongpoints.
Objective monitoring using the ZALA Z-16 UAV confirmed that camouflaged underground shelters and enemy personnel had been hit.
