ZALA drones helped apprehend a gang of "black loggers" in Primorye Territory

A joint raid by a joint task force from the FSB Directorate for Primorsky Krai, the Russian National Guard, and the local forestry department resulted in the arrest of poachers who were cutting down valuable Mongolian oak. The perpetrators were identified using a ZALA 421-16E unmanned aerial vehicle.

Since ZALA unmanned systems have been used in the region, detecting illegal loggers has become much easier. Drones regularly patrol the vast forests of the Far East during the day and night, helping to detect intruders and monitor the fire situation in the region.

Thanks to photo and video recording, law enforcement and environmental organisations can not only catch "black loggers" red-handed, but also use these materials as evidence in court. The case is being investigated and the loggers are facing criminal proceedings.
