ZALA ballistic missile and barrage munitions operator training simulator "Lancet"

We present our own development - simulator of ZALA reconnaissance ballistic missiles and barrage munitions "Izdeliye-51 and -52", allows to carry out simulation of reconnaissance and combat sorties of any complexity, at any time of day, in various climatic and weather conditions, as well as in the conditions of countering the enemy's REB.

After learning the theory, the trainees of the ZALA training centre are trained on simulators that fully simulate the preparation, launch and control of UAVs and barrage munitions. The advantage of the simulator is the possibility to work out the correct sequence of actions of the entire flight mission cycle. This includes the use of virtual reality technology.

The whole training process is controlled by the instructor - at any time you can make changes to the task, create different weather conditions, change the terrain map, time of day, emulate the work of REB and abnormal situations.

The trainer controls and evaluates the result of all operations and actions of the BVS operator on the simulator. Upon successful completion of training on the simulator, the trainee is allowed to practice on the real BVS. In addition to training, the simulator helps to quickly update skills and retrain for new versions of the company's BVS.

As practice has shown, interactive training on the simulator is learnt much more deeply than from instructions. In the virtual reality of the simulator you can hone your driving skills without any risks and get experience close to the real one.

The simulator allows the simulation of several UAVs or barrage munitions simultaneously, each of which is controlled by a separate trainee, so that the operators can co-operate in a coherent manner.

The effectiveness of training on the simulator is confirmed by the results of ZALA and Lancet BVS operators in the SWO area.
