ZALA AERO took part in comprehensive exercises of OOO LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft-Kalmykia

On 22 April 2021, ZALA AERO unmanned systems took part in command and staff exercises of OOO LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft-Kalmykia. The main task of the exercise was to check the readiness of the company's services for situations related to possible oil and petroleum product spills at the existing oil production, refining and transportation facilities.

During the exercise, the readiness of the organisation's emergency rescue teams was checked and the procedure of actions to eliminate a simulated oil product spill with further fire was worked out.

ZALA unmanned aerial systems provided real-time control over the implementation of emergency response measures, as well as collection and exchange of operational information from the air. The flight team monitoring the pipeline found simulated oil product spills and notified the responsible services of OOO LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft-Kalmykia about the progress of the work.

The comprehensive exercise tested the readiness of emergency rescue teams to respond to possible spills at oil production, transportation and storage facilities, as well as emergency response techniques and methods.

The practical actions to eliminate a conditional emergency situation involved the forces and means of OOO LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft-Kalmykia, ZALA AERO and the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Kalmykia.
