"Gazpromneft-Khantos purchased ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles

ZALA AERO won a tender to supply an unmanned complex for Gazpromneft-Khantos LLC. Last year, the oil production company had already purchased two similar ZALA unmanned systems for monitoring pipelines and infrastructure.

The delivery set includes the ZALA 421-16E BVS, video cameras with 60x magnification, thermal and photo cameras, special software based on artificial intelligence, which automatically recognises violations at monitoring objects and sends notifications to responsible persons. The software also allows for convenient systematisation of photos, stitching into photoplans, tracking the dynamics of changes, and comparing data for separate periods.

Gazprom Neft-Khantos LLC, one of the largest subsidiaries of PJSC Gazprom Neft, produces oil at fields in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District and Tyumen Region. Having appreciated the benefits from the introduction of unmanned monitoring, the company is expanding its application. Thanks to the use of unmanned systems, the company plans to save about RUB 6 million in 2020.
