ZALA AERO demonstrated unmanned systems for the Government of YNAO

On 5 July, ZALA AERO specialists made a presentation of ZALA unmanned systems for the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
ZALA AERO presented its unmanned systems: ZALA 421-08M - a light and manoeuvrable "flying wing" type UAV, ZALA 421-16E2 UAV, as well as the flagship of the entire ZALA 421-16E range. These aircraft have the Arctic version and are capable of flying at temperatures as low as -55 ºC.

The representatives of the company told in detail about the capabilities of ZALA unmanned systems and what tasks they will help to solve for the region - first of all, it is inspection of territories during flood and fire-dangerous period, support of search and rescue operations, detection of poachers, protection of public events.

The second part of the presentation included flights, during which the participants of the event were shown the launch and landing of the UAV, drone control during the flight, as well as video and photo images from the drone, and new special purpose software solutions.
A 60x optical zoom video camera, a thermal imager and a 42MP still camera were used as targets.

The guests were shown the capabilities of REX-1 - a device to protect territories from commercial drones, which in terms of availability today are approaching the level of household appliances and pose a potential threat of misuse.

ZALA unmanned systems have been successfully used in the YNAO since 2014, patrolling the infrastructure of oil and gas companies.
The presentation was attended by Dmitry Artyukhov, Governor of the YNAO, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, GIBDD.
