ZALA AERO will showcase the latest ZALA VTOL drone for the first time at IDEX 2021

ZALA AERO GROUP unveiled its new ZALA VTOL hybrid unmanned system at the IDEX 2021 International Defence Exhibition and Conference, which opened on 21 February in Abu Dhabi.

The unique complex combines the best qualities of an aircraft-type drone and an envelope drone, and also has the ability to change the configuration depending on the conditions of the mission.

The simplicity of operation of this unmanned complex allows to reduce the role of human factor, the number of used and maintained equipment during the flight mission, and to fully automate the flight processes of the UAV.

The computing power of the ZX1's artificial intelligence-based on-board computer makes it possible to process data in Full HD and transmit HD video and photos via encrypted communication channels to the NSA, ensuring effective monitoring even before the aircraft lands.

The versatility of the ZALA VTOL design makes it fully compatible with all existing ZALA target loads and also allows the installation of additional surveying equipment.

The complex is a favourable solution for aerial monitoring for fuel and energy complex and search and rescue operations to ensure safe take-off/landing from unprepared sites in city conditions, as well as on hard-to-reach, long routes.
