ZALA Lancet Center "Rubicon" destroyed the enemy's BEK, armed with anti-aircraft missiles
On the morning of December 5, Russian military stated on repelling an enemy attempt to attack targets on the Crimean Peninsula using attack UAVs and unmanned boats (UB).
According to the Rubicon Special Purpose Center, one of the Ukrainian naval drones, armed, as stated, with AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, was detected by a ZALA unmanned reconnaissance system crew. The target's coordinates were promptly transmitted to Lancet operators. Equipped with new communication channels and a new intelligent guidance system, a ZALA loitering munition destroyed a highly maneuverable enemy aircraft carrier located at a distance of 104 kilometers from the Lancet launch point.
Earlier, the commander of the anti-marine drone group at the Rubicon Center, call sign «Fire,» told a correspondent told about tactics to counter such targets.
«"The ZALA system and the Lancet are used to counter unmanned boats. ZALA detects and relays communications to the Lancet," he said.
