ZALA supported the Era of Drones festival in memory of Hero of Russia Evgeny Fadin

The first regional festival of piloting unmanned systems «Drone Era» took place in Kolomna. The event was partnered by ZALA, a leading Russian developer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems.

The festival was dedicated to the memory of Yevgeny Fadin, a native of the Moscow region and Hero of Russia. The commander of the UAV group was posthumously honoured for his feat: during an artillery bombardment, risking his life, he evacuated personnel and equipment, but was mortally wounded. Evgeny was an operator of ZALA Z-16 and «Lancet» complexes, on his account - dozens of destroyed enemy vehicles. Refusing to be rotated, he fulfilled his duty to the end.

More than twenty children's and youth teams from the Moscow region took part in the competition. The participants demonstrated confident knowledge and practical skills in controlling unmanned aerial vehicles in the conditions of difficult competition tests. The winner was the Integral team of the House of Young Technicians from Khimki.

On the instructions of the Governor of the Moscow Region, the festival named after the Hero of Russia Evgeny Fadin will be held annually. ZALA is confident that this event will become an important platform for involving young people in the development of unmanned technologies and training a new generation of specialists.
